Datel's 4GB HD For Nintendo DS

In the outgoing rivalry between the Nintendo DS and PSP camps, PSP fans have long flaunted their handheld's media capabilities as a huge difference between the PSP and DS. The DS has been somewhat lacking in picture, video and music playback for quite some time. Fortunately for DS fans like me, Datel has set out to change all that!
The Nintendo DS never had capabilities to play music, movies or photos until now.

Announced just a few days ago, Datel's MAX Media Player for the Nintendo DS is a 4 GB hard drive unit that pops into the DS's GBA cartridge slot. A fully-featured media browser is built into the device, and when connected is able to launch MP3s, JPEGs and videos on the DS screens.

The package
The way you control everything is by touching them on the touch screen. The PSP does not have that. Ha ha ha!

As I wrote, it can play music, watch movies and view photos. But it can also read some special applications for the DS. (We have not seen any applications for the DS yet but we can't wait!!!)

The device can connect to PCs via USB for file transfer and bundled software will format videos and images to fit the DS screen. 4GB is a lot of storage space for video compressed to DS size, enough for 10 full-lengh movies according to Datel.
You can connect the Hard Drive to a PC to transfer files.

The Max Media Player should be available now, and will retail for $189.99

Crash Boom Bang!

Ever since Mario went in with his Party Posse, publishers and developers have tried to pull off the same success with their own line-up of characters. We've seen party mini-games with members from Sonic, Disney, Shrek...even Pac-Man! Now Vivendi is ready to do the same for its crash franchise, unique to the Nintendo DS platform. Check out some screens of the game here.

Nintendo DS Lite

Nintendo DS lite is the new redesigned Nintendo DS. It features an all new design with three colors to choose from(Black, White and Blue). It is smaller than the original DS but the buttons and the screens are the same size. It also features a longer stylus. It is priced at $149.90. If you are at Japan, quickly get it! I have posted the pictures of the old and new Nintendo DS system for you guys to compare.Three colors of DS Lite also displayed.

Goldeneye: Rogue Agent Review

Hi Guys! Today, I would like to post my FIRST review on this web site. Here goes:
Game: Goldeneye: Rogue Agent
Developer:Electronic Arts
Platform: Nintendo DS
Gameplay: First-Person-Shooter
REVIEW: It was a brave move for EA to release Goldeneye: Rogue Agent for the Nintendo DS. The game on the console versions were really bad. However, I do find the DS Version of the game more fun.

In the game, you play not as James Bond, but a former M14 agent. the game features no voice acting and the cut scenes are pretty short.

the strongest point of goldeneye is the gameplay. The Single-Player campaign features six long levels of intense action and puzzle solving. You can wield two guns, which is cool.

Just like the console version, you get to wield two guns.

The game controls your Goldeneye Abilities by touching small icons on the touch screen. The powers are quite useless, but they can help at times.

Your Goldneye Abilities are good. With Mag-Rail Guns, turn on MRI Vision to see over walls. Mag-Rails can shoot through walls, which is really helpful.

The Multiplayer is also one of the best parts of the game. you get to play in lots of levels. However, the levels are pretty short......

The controls of the game work perfectly. The touch screen is just like a mouse pad. You also use it to do "Hacks" By touching the correct color.(LOL)

Overall, this is a great game.

I Give it a 8.5 out of 10

The Revolution Controller

Please do give your comments on the controller. I will be checking every day!

Over The Hedge

Vicarious Visions continues to crank out some significant Nintendo DS games- Spider- Man 2, Tony Hawks American Skateland, Ultimate Spider-Man, and now the all new Over The Hedge. Though this game features a bunch of cute little furry critters, this is anything but a kiddie game. In fact, it could be one of the most impressive DS Games this year - At least on a technical level.

The game could also be one of the DS games to have graphics that even beat games like Mario Kart DS and metroid Prime: Hunters. Check out the first screens of the game here.
